View Large Image | Laurie Hird compiled the letters from the 1922 Farmer's Wife magizine contest, asking the readers "Do You Want Your Daughter To Marry A Farmer?" In addition to the selected letters you will see the quilt blocks chosen for their historical significance included in the book upon which to build a sampler quilt. This club will meet on the second Sunday of each month from 2 - 3:30 p.m. It will be a time for reviewing our quilting traditions and looking at traditional and alternative ways to use these wonderful 90+ years blocks to make them part of our history today.
