View Large Image | This Block of the Month offers a wonderful folk-art feel and a Christian theme. Words read: Live Simply, Love Generously, Serve Faithfully, Speak Truthfully, Pray Daily, and Leave Everything Else to God in wool applique. This quilt finishes 40" x 52". It will make a great lap quilt or wonderful wall hanging. What a great Christmas gift when finished. We will begin the quilt by appliquing the words and the piecing of the three stars. The applique is done in black wool so there will be no need for needle turn. The letters can be hand stitched or machine appliqued. The quilt will be completed in seven months.
